SEOUL, Aug. 23 (Korea Bizwire) — Hotel Toscana in Jeju Island, in which Jun-su Kim of JYJ, one of the most famous K-pop groups in Asia, has invested, is officially ready to open.
C-Jes Entertainment, JYJ and Kim’s talent agency, said, “Hotel Toscana Boutique of Kim Jun-su will open for business from September 25. Jun-su has always dreamed of building a special hotel of his own one day as he goes on tours overseas, and when he visited Jeju Island, he was fascinated by its beauty and decided that the island is perfectly suited for his hotel.”
Hotel Toscana is over 20,000 square meters and has five floors — from ground one to floor four — with a total of 60 suite rooms. The suites are in three different sizes and in two different styles — Koreana style and Toscana Style. Aside from the main building are four pool villas for luxury accommodations. The hotel plans to build 200 more suites in the adjacent land.
Its outdoor concert hall and the four-season outdoor pool are what the hotel takes most pride in; one of the largest pools in Jeju Island streams with temperature-controlled water so that the guests can enjoy swimming in any season.
The hotel’s landscape with palm trees and green meadows and with Toscana-styled architecture exudes medieval Italy-like romantic atmosphere and provides exotic experience and relaxation to its guests. Other additional amenities such as restaurants with ocean view, bars, coffee shops and gift shops are top notches as well.
Furthermore, Hollywood-beloved American top-class skin care brand, Erno Laszlo, will open shop within the hotel and one of the world’s largest tanning franchises, Ibiza, has partnered with the hotel to provide services as well.
Kim Jun-su said, “I couldn’t erase from my mind the mesmerizing feeling that I got from the mystical and majestic beauty of Jeju ever since I first visited here. I am happy that my dream of having a hotel here in Jeju has finally come true, and think this is a new challenge for me as well.”
“We have taken extra care in the landscapes and providing outstanding ocean views to our guests. I would also like to use profits from the hotel to help those who are unfortunate than others, by providing heating and air-conditioning for them and such.” said the K-pop idol turns CEO Kim Jun-su.
