SEOUL, April 30 (Korea Bizwire) — Actor Kim Soo-hyun has filed an additional stalking lawsuit against a YouTuber, who accused him of having an inappropriate relationship with late actress Kim Sae-ron when she was still a minor, the actor’s legal representative said Wednesday.
LKB & Partners said the latest lawsuit aims to compel Kim Se-ui, the operator of the YouTube channel Hoverlab, to stop his repeated “groundless” claims and hold him accountable, particularly after allegedly violating a recent court order.
This follows a temporary restraining order issued last Wednesday by the Seoul Central District Court, which mandated that Kim Se-ui stop stalking the actor. That order stemmed from an initial stalking lawsuit filed by the actor on April 2.
Despite the court order, the YouTuber allegedly continued to spread “
s rumors” about the actor, prompting the additional legal action, LKB & Partners said.
Previously, Kim has filed legal complaints against the YouTuber and the actress’ bereaved family for releasing a photo of him without trousers and threatening him. He also sought 12 billion won (US$8.14 million) in damages.
The actor has strongly denied the underage dating allegations.
