SEOUL, April 15 (Korea Bizwire) — Actor Kim Soo-hyun has filed complaints against individuals who posted malicious comments online, his agency Gold Medalist said Tuesday.
“In response to the reckless spread of malicious posts and baseless rumors online, we filed criminal complaints on Monday for defamation and insult under the Criminal Act,” the agency said.
It will continue to take firm legal action against such “illegal” online activities to protect the artist’s rights, it added.
The “Queen of Tears” star has been caught up in controversy since March, following suspicions of an alleged underage relationship with late actress Kim Sae-ron — claims he has firmly denied.
