SEOUL, Nov. 15 (Korea Bizwire) — Central Park Mall in Jakarta, Indonesia was seen packed with people when it opened on Sunday morning.
The Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency branch office in Jakarta and the Korea Tourism Organization have been hosting a Korean merchandise promotional event at the mall since Nov. 9.
Local consumers flocked to see nickel-silver pots that regularly appear on Korean dramas and TV series and are typically used to cook instant noodles, or “ramyeon” in Korean.
The event introduced some 100 Korean-made consumer goods produced by small and medium-sized enterprises including beauty products, food, kitchenware and fashion goods.
BTS cosmetics, eco-bags, and frozen food products were also popular at the event.
Dalgona kits were also a hit, thanks to the South Korean breakout hit “Squid Game” that has swept across Indonesia.
