SEOUL, Oct. 13 (Korea Bizwire)On October 12, Korean Air (KAL) announced that it would be hosting a flight simulation competition.

Participants will show off their flying skills using a flight simulator program created by Microsoft. This year marks the 7th incarnation of the appropriately named Flight Simulation Contest since its debut in 2004.

The planes that will be flown are the A380 and A330 from Airbus. Entry is open to both students and adults, but licensed pilots as well as the winner and runner-up from the previous contest are not allowed to enter.

The participants can choose the plane they want to operate, and must then fly through a scenario set by the simulator program, from take-off to landing.
