SEOUL, Oct. 27 (Korea Bizwire)South Korea’s flagship carrier Korean Air Lines Co. said Tuesday that as part of its eco-friendly activities, it signed a business agreement with the Mapo District Office to establish the ‘SKYPASS Forest’ within the Gyeongui Line Forest Park.

The forest will be created as part of Korean Air’s ‘Green SKYPASS’ project, in which the carrier’s SKYPASS mileage program members directly participate in the establishment of eco-friendly forests for the prevention of climate change and the achievement of carbon neutral goals.

This is a participation-type project in which SKYPASS members purchase bonus air tickets or logo products using mileage and Korean Air contributes to an eco-friendly fund in proportion to their purchases.
