SEOUL, Oct. 22 (Korea Bizwire)Dominic Dickens, an English teacher from Detroit, U.S.A., uploaded an infographic about Korean dramas on the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Facebook page. The posting drew much attention.

The picture Dickens posted on Korea Clickers (www.facebook.com/KoreaClickers), a page that introduces Korea, has attracted a considerable amount of attention, as there are more than a thousand likes and more than 100 comments. Considering the average traffic to the page, this is a very exceptional case.

The infographic Dickens posted features 15 settings and scenes that are frequently observed in Korean dramas. He grasps the characteristics and clichés with simple drawings, and witty messages.

Some of the contents like ‘accidental kiss’, ‘ poor girl to rich girl’, and ‘ crazy mother in law’ are not only funny, but also offer a chance to think about the meaning as well.

Dickens, who is married to a Korean woman, is quite famous among foreigners living in Korea, as he is very active on SNS.

The infographic on Korean dramas was originally posted on his personal Facebook account (facebook.com/DomHyo), and then reposted on Clickers.

Other than this current posting, a drawing of prime minister Hwang Gyo-an by Sanchita Gunatirika from Sri Lanka and a message from Indian CEO of TATA-Daewoo Motor, Zackria Sait, also attracted much attention.
