SEOUL, Oct. 8 (Korea Bizwire) — A Korean paper folding event was held in Annandale, Virginia, U.S. last Saturday as part of the Taste of Annandale community festival.
At the festival, where visitors could taste a variety of cuisines from 150 countries, a special event took place for visitors to make Korean traditional conical hats with paper.
The event brought positive response from the visitors, local residents, as well as local politicians.
The paper folding festival was held as a part of the worldwide movement to collect 80 million conical hats for world peace and the reunification of the Korean peninsula.
