Kim signed a contract with Turkish team Fenerbahce in 2011 and won the championship seven times during her six years with the team.
Napoli center back Kim Min-jae, who spent 2021 season with the Turkish football team Fenerbahce, also posted a photo of the Turkish flag with a slogan that said “Pray for Turkey” on social media, providing instructions for donations.
Among the members of the South Korean disaster relief team sent to Turkey was a military officer who fought at the forefront of the pandemic three years ago.
