SEOUL, Oct. 31 (Korea Bizwire)Television shows from Korean terrestrial networks will be available on Comcast starting next month, the Korea Content Platform (KCP) said Wednesday.

The KCP, jointly established by KBS, MBC and SBS last year, said it is set to sign a deal with the American broadcasting and cable TV company to have its online streaming service, KOCOWA, on the platform.

The KCP started the video-on-demand service in July last year to offer a variety of Korean TV programs to a global audience.

“Through cooperation with Comcast, we expect to expand the American viewership base for Korean TV content,” the company said in a statement.

The two parties are scheduled to meet at the Comcast headquarters in Philadelphia on Wednesday local time to sign the deal.
