SEOUL, June 21 (Korea Bizwire) — Korean War heroes became models in a new summer uniform crafted by a famous designer.
The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs revealed a pictorial and video of Korean War veterans in a summer uniform under the project name ‘Heroes in Uniforms’.
Ten veterans including Korean War Veterans Association chairman Son Hee-won stood in front of the camera in their new summer uniforms, boasting pride as war heroes.
The ministry invited the veterans to the project with the need for a new uniform that carries the level of social respect that befits the sacrifice of the veterans.
Ten veterans including chairman Son partook in the entire process of designing and wearing the new uniforms, and were joined by famous designers and photographers.
