SEOUL, April 27 (Korea Bizwire) – Korea’s first whale themed park, called ‘Whale Culture Town’, will be completed on May 18 in Ulsan. The 27.2 billion (US$ 25.2 million) project from Ulsan’s Nam-gu Office has a square, a whale sculpture park, an underwater plant garden and a park which looks like the inside of a whale.
A theme park, which will be a rendition of an old Korean town famous for its whale fishery, will also be established in the town. A 5D theater where viewers can experience what it is like to swim with whales will be established in the second part of 2016.
