SEOUL, June 10 (Korea Bizwire) — A new artificial intelligence (AI) solution will soon be made available to help diabetics monitor their food consumption.
KT Corp., South Korea’s leading telecommunication firm, concluded a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday with Huray Positive, a digital healthcare service provider, and Wonju Severance Christian Hospital to develop medical data-based diabetes treatment service.
This new MOU will enable KT to develop an AI solution for Gangwon Province’s regulation-free special zone for the digital healthcare industry.
Diabetics visiting Wonju Severance Christian Hospital starting later this year will be able to manage daily food consumption via Huray Positive’s management app.
“Just by taking a picture of the food enables the app to analyze the food type, nutrition, and calories, making it easier for diabetics, guardians, and medical staff to tailor treatment for each diabetes patient,” said KT.
