SEOUL, May 2 (Korea Bizwire) — KT announced today the launch of two next-generation AI service bots with improved driving stability and marketing utilization compared to previous models. Produced by Bear Robotics and LG Electronics, the robots bring KT’s total lineup of AI service robots to five.
The next-generation AI service robot from Bear Robotics features enhanced driving stability, a large weight-responsive tray, and a four-tier height-adjustable tray. It also has a 10.1-inch display and LED-matrix LEDs to enhance marketing utilization. LG Electronics’ next-generation AI service robot has six independent suspensions and a lidar-3D camera to improve driving stability. It can also be utilized as a guidance robot by using the customer guidance mode that exposes the desired guidance text on the display.
Both robots provide ‘smart ordering’ services that help customers place orders on tablets and kiosks, as well as service integration with in-store call systems. The two next-generation AI service robots are designed to carry food and drinks stably in various indoor environments, using optimized suspension structures and cushioning devices.
With the launch of this next-generation AI service robot, KT plans to expand the use of service robots to indoor golf courses, PCs, and small parts factories.
