LOS ANGELES,Nov. 1 (Korea Bizwire) – The Los Angeles office of the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) will release a comprehensive online guide for the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games on Wednesday, containing useful information for those who plan to visit the city.

The new guide, which will be released through the KTO’s social media channel tomorrow, is expected to outline in detail tourism information related to the 2018 Winter Games, including Olympic tickets, Korail passes and lodging as well as cultural activities that will be held in Pyeongchang.

For instance, the guide will explain how to buy tickets both online and at 24 offline stores, and will also include ticket prices and the location of the ticket booths.

When it comes to lodging and transport, the guide will provide information about KTX trains and complimentary shuttle buses, as well as 33 hotels with 5,355 rooms in Pyeongchang and the surrounding area, and a number of cultural activities including the PyeongChang Winter Music Festival and the Korean National Ballet’s rendition of Anna Karenina.

“The new Pyeongchang guide was designed to help individual tourists enjoy the Olympics more conveniently. We hope it spurs interest in local tourism and helps visitors enjoy their time there more,” said Kim Hee-sun, the head of the Los Angeles office of the KTO.
