SEOUL, Oct. 27 (Korea Bizwire)The Legoland Korea amusement park, which opened in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province in May, recently issued an arbitrary notice of closure, raising complaints from annual pass holders.

Legoland Korea Resort, the theme park’s operator, recently announced that the park would be closed for a total of 15 days during the months of November and December.

In other words, the theme park will be closed most weekdays, excluding weekends and holidays, during the two months.

This notice drew strong complaints, particularly from holders of the cheapest standard annual pass, which has some limits in usage for weekends and holidays.

The problem is that Legoland Korea didn’t issue an advance notice to annual pass users. Worse, it didn’t disclose any clear justification for such closures.

This type of customer service is poor compared to other domestic theme parks, and vulnerable to criticism for the inconvenience.

Other theme parks such as Lotte World and Everland do not close in principle except for natural disasters or war.

There is speculation that Legoland Korea will also shut down on weekdays during the months of January and February.
