SEOUL, Mar. 28 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics Inc. said Wednesday it aims to tap deeper into the U.S. market for signage solutions in line with steps to diversify its business portfolio.
The South Korean tech giant said it took part in the Digital Signage Expo 2018 held in Las Vegas to showcase its latest solutions to potential business partners in the country.
Among the solutions showcased at the convention was a video wall display, with a bezel of only 0.6 millimeters. The company said the thin bezel enables the screen to provide immersive signage solutions by connecting a number of displays.
LG also introduced its interactive digital board boasting Ultra-HD resolution, which can be used for business meetings. The company said users can share various information simply by touching the display.
The tech giant also introduced various signage solutions adopting its organic light-emitting diode (OLED) technology.
The Ultra Stretch signage, which comes with 86-inch or 88-inch displays with ratios of 58:9 and 32:9, respectively, can also be applied on tall buildings or pillars. The company said the solution is optimized for airports and subway stations as it can deliver timetables and directions to visitors.
“LG Electronics provides signage solutions that can be applied in all business environments,” the company said, claiming it will continue to release new innovative signage products.
