SEOUL, April 28 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics announced on April 28 that it will begin the global rollout of its 2025 QNED TV lineup in early May, starting with markets in South Korea and North America.
This year’s lineup offers a broader range of models, from mid-sized to ultra-large screens, including the new 100-inch QNED Evo and wireless QNED Evo models. Expanding its portfolio, LG has introduced wireless options to meet growing consumer demand for more flexible home entertainment setups.
The 2025 QNED TVs feature an upgraded nano-based color reproduction technology, delivering significantly enhanced color accuracy. LG claims the displays now express colors more vividly and realistically, closely resembling what the human eye perceives.
The models have also received a 100% Color Volume certification from global testing and certification organization Intertek, verifying their ability to reproduce original content without distortion.
LG has further expanded its proprietary wireless AV transmission solution, which uniquely supports up to 4K resolution at 144Hz without loss or delay, across the new QNED Evo models. To ensure seamless visual performance even during wireless transmission, the new TVs are certified with AMD’s “FreeSync Premium,” minimizing screen tearing and latency.
Additionally, the new models integrate five advanced AI features accessible via a dedicated button on the Magic Remote, allowing the TVs to personalize the viewing environment based on user preferences.
“We aim to strengthen our leadership in the global premium TV market with a dual-track strategy that pairs our OLED TVs’ unrivaled self-emissive picture quality with the advanced technology embedded in our premium LCD QNED TVs,” said Park Hyung-se, head of LG’s Home Entertainment Division.
LG plans to continue the phased launch of the new QNED TVs across additional global markets throughout 2025.
