SEOUL, Sep. 25 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics announced on September 24 that it launched a new air purifier targeting the Chinese consumers. The round-shaped product was previously rolled out in the domestic market in March, gaining huge popularity from Korean consumers. The world leading electronics company refurbished its air purifier to make it more suitable for Chinese customers.
The new product has enhanced performance in filtering air pollutants as Chinese consumers have long been plagued with fine dust and smog. As part of its localization strategies, the product has round in shape and comes in gold or silver color since Chinese people believe that a round shape brings good luck and wealth to them while gold and silver colors also represent good luck and wealth.
