LG Electronics Runs Brand Campaign in the U.S.

Seoul, Korea, Sep 16 (Korea Bizwire) –LG Electronics held on September 14 a promotional event “It’s All Possible” with more than 400 guests, including movie stars, entertainment industry reporters, and the general public invited through pre-event lot drawing, at “404 NYC,” a premier venue in Manhattan for corporate parties. 

Early this month, the Korean company kicked off an unusual brand campaign jointly with “Funny or Die,” the Will Ferrell-founded comedy video website, in which Dave Franco and Chris Mintz-Plasse, both of Superbad fame, took a coast-to-coast trip for a week with a theme “It’s All Possible.” 

On their way, they had wacky experiences in such American cities as Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Chicago to officiate a wedding, surf the sky with a flyboard, and appear on a morning TV news show. Throughout their travels and travails, they kept contact with Internet users through Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram with their LG G2 smartphones. For example, their Instagram accounts logged in more than 5,000 followers in only two days.
