SEOUL, Jun. 26 (Korea Bizwire)LG Electronics says it will strengthen its communication with customers while expanding after-purchase support for smartphones.

Starting June 21, the South Korean electronics giant has decided to call upon its researchers, marketers and other in-house experts to reply to inquiries regarding smartphones posted by their customers on LG’s “Quick Help” application.

Although the company already offered similar consultation services via its Twitter account and app, they lacked professionalism and expertise.

The forum section of the “Quick Help” app was actually launched in 2016 but has been used primarily by customers to leave reviews and to share information amongst users of premium LG phones.

However, as inaccurate information spread amongst LG users, the company says there was a need to have experts provide accurate information.

The forum will deal with not only simple queries, but also issues related to app stability and errors while also accepting proposals for new designs.

An official at LG Electronics said that hundreds of posts are written on the forum every day.

“Because we value the relationship we have with our clients, we have decided to have our experts communicate directly with them,” said the official.
