SEOUL, Aug. 17 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics Inc. said Wednesday it will showcase the LG Smart Cottage housing solution at IFA 2023, slated to take place in Berlin, Germany in early September.
The Smart Cottage is a compact modular housing unit that seamlessly integrates LG’s energy and HVAC technology with high-end home appliances.
A 4-kilowatt solar panel, positioned on the roof, generates a substantial amount of electricity to cater to the daily needs of two adults.
Incorporating a heat pump heating and cooling system known as the ThermaV monoblock, this setup significantly curtails energy consumption while storing surplus electricity in a home energy storage system (ESS).
Within the confines of the Smart Cottage, an array of premium home appliances is on offer. These include the Objet Collection wash tower compact, dishwasher, induction electric range and water purifier.
