SEOUL, Korea, July 23 (Korea Bizwire) – On July 23, LG Electronics shared invitations to the ‘LG G2 Day’ to more than 500 media outlets worldwide. The event which will unveil LG’s new smartphone, ‘LG G2’, is to be held at the ‘Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Center’ in New York at 11 am on August 7.
This event will be the first time LG Electronics will be showcasing their new smartphone in New York and is a demonstration of its confidence in its new product. The company has chosen New York as the venue because it is the largest market and greatest battleground for smartphones, not to mention the world’s capital of global media.
In addition to the invitations, LG Electronics is showing video clips promoting its event on LG displays around the world including Times Square, New York and Piccadilly Square, London. Furthermore, the showcase will be broadcast live online on the LG homepage (http://G2.LGMobile.com), Facebook (www.facebook.com/LGMobile), and YouTube (www.youtube.com/LGMobile).
The new ‘LG G2’ operates on the Qualcomm SnapDragon 800 processor which enables up to 150 Mbps through LTE-A networks, as well as rich graphics and highly efficient batteries.
