SEOUL, Oct. 23 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics Inc. said Thursday it ranked first in four categories in the 2025 U.S. Appliance Satisfaction Study released by market research firm J.D. Power, marking the highest number of wins among all brands evaluated.
The South Korean tech giant took the top spot in the French-door refrigerator, side-by-side refrigerator, dryer and range categories. The annual study surveys more than 15,000 U.S. consumers who purchased major home appliances in the past year, rating 11 product types based on seven factors, including performance, reliability and design.
LG’s French-door and side-by-side refrigerators earned high marks for functionality, durability and aesthetic appeal. J.D. Power highlighted the latter model’s “well-thought-out design and spacious interior,” which makes organizing food easier and adds to its overall value.
The company’s dryers and ranges also performed strongly, recognized for their performance and usability.
LG said the results reaffirm its technological leadership, citing proprietary innovations such as the AI DD motor and Inverter Linear Compressor as key contributors to its competitiveness in the U.S. market.
According to multiple consumer evaluations in North America and Europe, LG currently holds the No. 1 ranking in refrigerators across 10 countries and 28 surveys, washing machines in six countries and nine surveys, and dryers in four countries and five surveys.
