LAS VEGAS, Jan. 5 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics Inc. on Sunday unveiled its new artificial intelligence-powered television featuring an advanced organic light-emitting diode (OLED) screen with clearer and brighter image quality.
The 2025 OLED evo incorporates brightness booster technology, which optimizes the display algorithm and organic compound structure to deliver images up to three times brighter than those of conventional OLED TVs, according to the company.
The enhanced brightness amplifies the contrast ratio, a key strength of OLED technology, bringing vivid on-screen effects to life, it added.
Equipped with the updated Alpha 11 AI processor and LG Electronics’ webOS smart TV operating system, the new model delivers higher resolution and a more seamless user experience.
The Alpha 11 processor enhances picture quality by analyzing footage in pixel-perfect detail and color correction to match the creator’s intent with rich spatial sound.
The smart TV includes the Magic Remote, or AI remote controller, which simplifies access to AI functions via dedicated buttons.
When a customer turns on the TV with the AI button, they can enjoy a personalized experience, including tailored content recommendations based on their viewing history.
LG Electronics has also designed the 2025 OLED TVs with premium features for gaming and movie enthusiasts.
The game dashboard allows users to customize settings, such as frame rate and graphic enhancements, based on the game genre, whether it’s a first-person shooter or a role-playing game.
“With a sharper screen and a smarter AI-powered webOS platform, the 2025 LG OLED evo will deliver an immersive viewing experience to customers around the world,” said Park Hyoung-sei, head of LG Electronics home entertainment division.
