SEOUL, July 24 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics Inc. said Sunday its UltraGear gaming monitor has been selected as the official monitor for Gamers8, the world’s largest eSports championship, for the second consecutive year.
The monitor features an impressive 360-hertz refresh rate and is equipped with NVIDIA Reflex technology, effectively reducing the latency between mouse clicks and monitor responses.
Furthermore, an LG OLED TV has been designated as the official TV for the console game category.
Gamers8 is currently taking place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 6 to August 30, with a staggering prize pool of US$45 million.
It is renowned as the largest eSports competition in the world.
