SEOUL, Aug. 11 (Korea Bizwire) — South Korean cosmetics and household goods maker LG H&H Co. said Thursday its Toothbrush Diet Project had won the top prize in the packaging design category at the Red Dot Design 2023 awards.
Through the incorporation of a lengthened handle and purposeful gaps between the handle and the body of the toothbrush, the company managed to decrease plastic consumption by about 20 percent when contrasted with traditional toothbrushes.
Furthermore, the product packaging employed eco-friendly pulp molds and transparent films, facilitating completely separate disposal with a 100 percent assurance.
