SEOUL, July 2 (Korea Bizwire) – LG Electronics announced on Sunday the introduction of a new kiosk aimed at enhancing accessibility for individuals who are particularly vulnerable to using digital devices in stores.

These kiosks feature a low-vision mode with larger text and a clearer screen, as well as a low-standing mode to accommodate customers who use wheelchairs or have a short stature.

In the second half of this year, LG Electronics plans to install kiosks with a voice menu guidance mode and a tactile keypad in domestic franchise stores. This enables visually impaired customers, who cannot perceive light, to place orders by following the voice menu instructions and pressing the directional keys on the keypad.

LG Electronics collaborated with Nice TCM, specializing in unmanned solutions, to develop a user experience (UX) that makes information more accessible.
