LG Offers Medical Instruments to over 700 Disabled People in Kenya

SEOUL, Feb. 25 (Korea Bizwire)LG Electronics Inc. said Thursday it has delivered prosthetic arms and legs to help the disabled in Africa.

Since 2006, LG Electronics has been providing the medical instruments to Kenyan patients who became disabled in wars or terror attacks. Around 700 patients successfully received the support.

LG Electronics also has been starting various volunteer projects in the African country, including providing solar-powered refrigerators to hospitals to safely store vaccines and giving stationery to local schools.

The company said it will continue such contributions to help developing countries stand on their own feet.’
