SEOUL, Jan. 5 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics Inc. said Friday it has opened the LG Kids Science Hall in the capital city of Iran in a bid to promote its brand in the Middle Eastern country.
The South Korean tech giant said it hopes the science hall will provide local children and teenagers with opportunities to learn science. The company also said it will continue to make similar social contributions in Iran down the road.
The science hall is located at Book Garden, a major bookshop in Tehran with 70,000 average monthly visitors.
At the venue, LG said visitors can take a glimpse of top-notch technologies for robots and automobiles, as well as various opportunities to learn science from everyday life.
LG said Iran is one of its major markets and imports various LG home appliances, from OLED TVs and handsets to refrigerators, though the company did not disclose its annual sales in Iran.
