SEOUL, May 7 (Korea Bizwire) – LG Uplus announced that it rolled out the world’s first LTE-based security control service applied by “M2M platform” jointly with security company ADT Caps.
Through the partnership, the Korea’s third largest mobile telecommunications carrier which fortified the world’s first nationwide LTE network achieved recognition in its advanced LTE technology and in its stable network management.
By transforming its security control service to LTE-based one, ADT Caps will also be able to offer stable and speedy customer service by 24-hour monitoring of the security and assets of its customers and rapid mobilization in case of emergencies.
The LTE-based security control service developed by LG Uplus applied integrated terminals based on LTE communications technology and M2M platform based on “All IP” to raise speed and credibility, the key factors for security control service.
The two companies plan to lead the global standards for security technologies by jointly developing new services or additional infrastructure applied by LTE and M2M related security control services in the future.
