SEOUL, Sept. 11 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics is introducing a new super-sized micro LED TV for folks who want an amazing home theater experience.

LG Electronics shared the news on Monday that they’re currently revealing the 118-inch LG MAGNIT micro LED TV for the first time at the CEDIA 2023, an electronics show in Dallas, Texas that started on September 7.

This impressive TV will first be available in North America and then in Korea and other parts of the world. It’s a massive 118-inch screen, which is about 3 meters across diagonally, and it supports 4K resolution, giving you a truly immersive experience that fills up an entire wall.

LG also mentioned that the screen has a special treatment that makes colors look great from any angle, and a black coating that makes dark colors really pop.

One cool thing about this TV is that it has a unique way of displaying images, with each pixel emitting its own light, which means you get an outstanding contrast and vivid colors.

It’s powered by a 6th-generation AI Alpha 9 processor that can recognize faces, objects, text, and backgrounds in the scene to create more realistic and three-dimensional images.

The built-in speakers on both sides of the screen deliver powerful 50W sound for a 4.2-channel stereo experience.

And there’s more! This TV is loaded with handy features. It uses the web OS, a smart TV platform, so you can easily enjoy online video services like YouTube, Disney+, and Apple TV on this massive screen.

LG Electronics garnered significant attention by installing an expansive micro-LED sign, measuring 9.6 meters in width and 1.35 meters in length, at the Gyeongnam Provincial Office of Disaster and Safety

Plus, it meets some important standards. It’s certified as EMC Class B according to the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) electromagnetic compatibility regulations, and it’s also certified as Eye Comfort by TUV Rheinland in Germany for reducing blue light emissions.

LG Electronics is also teaming up with the high-end audio brand Bang & Olufsen (B&O) to create a home theater setup where you can enjoy both the incredible picture quality of the LG MAGNIT and the premium sound from B&O.
