SEOUL, Jan. 1 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Electronics has introduced its 2025 lineup of LG Gram laptops, featuring advanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. The new models will debut at CES 2025, the world’s largest consumer electronics and IT exhibition, opening on January 7 in the United States, and will simultaneously launch in the South Korean market.

The 2025 LG Gram series is equipped with Intel’s next-generation Core Ultra Processor Series 2 and offers Multi-AI functionality, combining on-device and cloud-based AI services for enhanced user experiences.

A key innovation is LG’s proprietary on-device AI feature, Gram Chat On-Device, which processes AI tasks directly within the laptop without requiring a network connection.

This feature customizes responses based on stored files and user activity, offering a faster and more secure solution for tasks involving personal data.

Meanwhile, the cloud-based Gram Chat Cloud, leveraging GPT-4 Omni (4o), provides highly sophisticated answers for complex problems when connected to the internet. Buyers of the 2025 LG Gram will receive a one-year free subscription to Gram Chat Cloud.

LG has maintained its hallmark portability in the latest lineup. The 16-inch Gram Pro weighs just 1,199 grams, while the model equipped with NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4050 graphics card weighs 1,359 grams.

The 17-inch Gram Pro, featuring a large-capacity battery, comes in at 1,369 grams, making the series among the lightest in its class.

To celebrate the launch, LG is hosting product release events at major online and offline retailers in South Korea through January 21.

Yoon-Seok Lee, head of LG’s IT Business Division, emphasized the innovation behind the new lineup, stating, “With the Multi-AI functionality, we aim to set a new standard for AI PCs, delivering transformative AI experiences in everyday life.”
