SEOUL, May 18 (Korea Bizwire) — LG Uplus Corp., a major South Korean telecom operator, on Tuesday unveiled the Uplus Metaverse platform which includes Uplus Virtual Office for office workers and Uplus Kids Zoo for children.
Uplus Virtual Office offers a virtual experience of commuting to work, engaging in small talk, meetings, video conferences and collaborating with other employees to imitate a real office environment.
The service includes an AI Minutes tool that creates real-time subtitles and office minutes, a memo tool that uses post-its, collaborative tools for joint editing and avatar conversations that allow emotive gestures and lip syncing.
Uplus Kids Zoo virtually recreates some 30 animals including giraffes, bears and tigers, and some 20 dinosaurs including brachiosaurus and tyrannosaurus.
