GONGJU, Dec. 11 (Korea Bizwire) — Night views of Gongsanseong Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Gongju, South Chungcheong Province, have become significantly more dramatic recently.
The city reported Tuesday it has completed a project to light the fortress’s landscape for visitors to better enjoy beautiful night views of the fortress.
The goal of the initiative was to create dramatic night views with historical culture and natural scenery by installing outdoor lighting along the 2-kilometer fortress walls.
Gongsanseong Fortress is famous for its spectacular night views as visitors are able to see the city spread out before them while walking along the fortress walls.
