SEOUL, Jul. 19 (Korea Bizwire) – In a recent survey of advertising professionals and marketers, singer Lim Young-woong has emerged as the most recommended advertising model in South Korea, securing the top spot overall and in the male model category.
The Busan International Marketing and Advertising Festival (MAD STARS) conducted an online survey during the month of March, targeting active advertising professionals and marketers in the country. The results were announced on July 18.
Lim, who has been expanding his career beyond singing into variety shows and other fields, recently made a successful acting debut in the short film “In October,” released on streaming platforms Coupang Play and TVING.
In the female model category, singer and actress IU claimed the top position. IU, who recently concluded a solo concert in Osaka, Japan, is currently on a world tour, enjoying support from global fans.
The survey also recognized emerging talents in the advertising world. Actor and model Byeon Woo-seok, who rose to stardom with his lead role in the tvN drama “Lovely Runner,” was named the top new male advertising model. For the female category, actress Lee Joo-bin, praised for her solid performance in the record-breaking tvN drama “Queen of Tears,” took the honors.
In the influencer category, travel content creators “Kwak Tube” and “Pani Bottle,” each boasting over 2 million subscribers, shared the top spot.
The 2024 Busan International Marketing and Advertising Festival is scheduled to take place from August 21 to 23 at BEXCO and various locations in Haeundae, Busan.
