SEOUL, Dec. 22 (Korea Bizwire) – Korean convenience store franchise GS25 and Nongshim Kellogg have partnered for a special New Year’s promotion, offering a “Pringles Lamp of Hope” to 10,000 customers on a first-come-first-served basis.
In order to be eligible for the promotion, one needs to purchase a Pringles can (110g) at any GS25 outlet, and collect GS25 loyalty points. A stamp will be awarded for each purchase, and those that collect four stamps can apply to receive one of the lamps.
The mood light featuring Mr. P is the first of its kind offered by Kellogg. It glows in different colors, including white, pink, and blue, and can fit on a Pringles can.
“Products and marketing efforts focusing on specific characters have become widely popular,” said a GS Retail official. “After much discussion about different character products, we ultimately decided on the Pringles Lamp of Hope.”
