SEOUL, Jan. 8 (Korea Bizwire) — Louis Vuitton has reopened its flagship Dosan store in Seoul’s Gangnam district following a renovation that commemorates the 130th anniversary of the brand’s iconic monogram, the company said Wednesday.
The refurbishment pays tribute to the monogram design created in 1896 by Georges Vuitton in honor of his father, Louis Vuitton, a motif that has since become one of the most recognizable symbols in luxury fashion.
Reimagined around the brand’s long-standing philosophy of the “art of travel,” the Seoul Dosan store has been redesigned with a hotel-inspired concept. The renewed space showcases a range of classic monogram bags, including the Keepall, Speedy, Alma, Neverfull and Noé, allowing visitors to experience the evolution of the house’s signature designs.

The renovation also adds a new hospitality element. A bar on the second floor now serves champagne alongside newly introduced menu items featuring Louis Vuitton’s monogram motifs, blending retail with lifestyle experiences.
The updated store reflects the brand’s broader strategy of transforming its flagship locations into immersive destinations, as luxury houses increasingly seek to deepen customer engagement beyond traditional shopping.
