SEOUL, Nov. 24 (Korea Bizwire) — South Korea’s leading game publishers are gearing up for next month’s Animation X Game Festival (AGF) with an unusually strong slate of anime-style titles, signaling the genre’s expanding influence across the domestic industry.

According to the gaming sector on Monday, major companies including Neowiz, Nexon, Netmarble, Smilegate, NCSoft, and NHN will operate booths at AGF 2025, set to run from Dec. 5 to 7 at KINTEX in Goyang, just outside Seoul.

Neowiz plans a standalone booth centered on Browndust 2, now in its third year, featuring photo zones, a themed café, cosplay shows, and voice-actor events. Nexon will showcase Mabinogi Mobile, which won the grand prize at this year’s Korea Game Awards.

Netmarble is joining with its long-running hit Fate/Grand Order in celebration of the game’s eighth anniversary, while NCSoft will highlight Limit Zero Breakers, a new title under development by Big Games Studio for release in the first half of next year.

Smilegate will exhibit Epic Seven alongside its upcoming title Miraeshi: Invisible Future, which debuted at the Tokyo Game Show in September and will be available for public demo in Korea for the first time at AGF. NHN will present Abyssdia, a character-collection RPG launched in Japan in August ahead of a planned global rollout.

Shift Up’s Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, serviced by Level Infinite, will host fan events, developer meetups, and mini-game challenges.

A wave of mid-sized developers working on subculture titles will also join the festival. AbleGames will debut its new project Crescent, and Clover Games will return with HeavenHells, featured at last year’s AGF. StudioBside will promote StarSavior, released earlier this month.

AGF 2025, co-hosted by Aniplus, Daewon Media, Sony Music Solutions and D&C Media, is drawing heightened attention after several major publishers skipped the G-Star game show this fall. With subculture titles gaining momentum, the festival is emerging as the year’s most anticipated domestic gaming event.
