SEOUL, July 5 (Korea Bizwire) – McDonald’s Korea announced on Tuesday, July 5, that it will launch a “Big Mac Cooking Class” for both children and parents at 70 different locations across the country. The event is part of the company’s “Moms are Surprised” campaign that started in 2013 to publicize the excellence of its ingredients and quality control process.

The participants will have the opportunity to see fresh ingredients such as patties made with Australian and New Zealand beef, buns that are baked on the same day, Korean tomatoes and cheese, and actually make a Big Mac using the fresh ingredients.

They will also experience the company’s hygiene control management that includes having employees wash their hands for more than 20 seconds in the kitchen, and wearing different color gloves for different ingredients.

“We hope this event will help everyone understand how our company handles fresh ingredients and how we care about hygiene management on site. It will be great family experience,” said company official.
