SEOUL, July 21 (Korea Bizwire) – Mercedes-Benz Korea announced that it has released a limited edition of its Mercedes-AMG GT S two-seat sports car for the domestic market. The Edition 1, which features a lightweight aluminum construction with a front mid-engine, provides a driving experience on par with a racing car, according to the company.
The AMG GT model, which was introduced to Korean drivers at the 2015 Seoul Motor Show, has an AMG 4.0 liter V8 bi-turbo engine and an AMG DCT 7-speed transmission, with CO2 emissions coming in at 236 grams per kilometer and a fuel efficiency of 7.6 kilometers per liter. It does 0-100 kph in just 3.8 seconds, and is priced at 219 million won.
