SEOUL, July 1 (Korea Bizwire) – MINI Korea announced on July 1 the official launch of its new MINI Cooper S 3-Door model in the domestic market, marking a significant milestone for the brand.

The new MINI Cooper S 3-Door represents the first complete redesign in a decade, succeeding the model introduced in 2014. It is the second model from the new MINI family lineup to debut in South Korea, following the introduction of the new MINI Countryman.

Under the hood, the new Cooper S 3-Door boasts a Twin Power Turbo 4-cylinder gasoline engine, delivering a maximum output of 204 horsepower and peak torque of 30.6 kg·m. The power is managed through a Steptronic 7-speed double-clutch transmission. This powertrain enables the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in a mere 6.6 seconds.

The exterior design retains MINI’s signature elements while introducing modern updates. The front features the iconic circular headlights and an octagonal grille with enhanced contours. At the rear, the taillights showcase a design inspired by the Union Jack, Britain’s national flag.

Inside the cabin, MINI has streamlined the controls with the MINI Toggle Bar, which houses only essential buttons. A standout feature is the 240mm circular OLED display, which serves as a central hub for the instrument cluster, navigation, climate control, and in-car infotainment functions.
