SEOUL, Nov.24 (Korea Bizwire) – The Human Resources Development Service of Korea announced that it will be managing a mobile service that calculates severance pay until the end of the year, to offer a more convenient option for business owners and foreign workers.
The service can be used by going to the EPS homepage (http://www.eps.go.kr), downloading and installing the mobile application, and clicking the ‘severance pay calculation’ icon.
By inputting basic information such as the expected date of departure and average salary, users can obtain the estimated amount of severance payment owed.
During the test period, the service will be provided in the three most common languages among foreign workers in Korea, Vietnamese, Cambodian and Indonesian, as well as Korean and English. The service will be provided in 15 different languages starting next year.
