SEOUL, Jan.6 (Korea Bizwire) – Lotte Department store has started a service in which cosmetics products are delivered to a customer’s home on a regular basis.
Store officials announced that Belief, a cosmetics brand from LG Household & Health Care, had started a subscription service.
By subscribing to a cosmetics brand, customers can have cosmetics delivered to their home on a regular basis, just like magazines and newspapers.
Customers who subscribe are provided the service for a period of six months. They can select the products they want in person at a store, or receive samples of suggested cosmetics that suit their skin type every two months, with recommendations made by the brand’s employees.
Subscribers can receive a ‘Deluxe Sample’, which is larger than the average sample, and various benefits are provided such as Lotte gift cards and massage coupons.
Customers can sign up for the service at the main Lotte Department Store, and the cost of a six month subscription is 600,000 won.
In addition to local customers, Chinese visitors who visit the store can also subscribe to the service.
Lotte officials say that they are considering increasing the number of brands or items offered through the service after monitoring customer response to the cosmetics subscription service offered by Belief.
