SEOUL, June 25 (Korea Bizwire) – The trailer of “Haemu (literally meaning “sea fog”),” directed by Shim Sung-bo who wrote the screenplay of “Memories of Murder” (2005), was released.
“Haemu” is the first film in which famous director Bong Jun-ho joined as a producer and shows off splendid castings of Kim Yoon-seok, Park Yu-cheon, Lee Hee-jun, Moon Sung-keun and Kim Sang-ho. The movie will be released on August 13.
The film contains episodes of six sailors who entangle in blockade runners amid the thick sea fog unable to see beyond their noses. The screen copy “Unbelievable fates awaiting them unexpected moment” raises the audience’s curiosity on the movie. Internet users commented that the movie become a “Korean version of Titanic.”
