NAMHAE, Nov. 3 (Korea Bizwire) – The 11th German Village Oktoberfest, one of the flagship festivals in Namhae, South Gyeongsang Province, successfully attracted over 50,000 visitors, with 9 out of 10 expressing satisfaction with their experience.
As reported by Namhae County on Thursday, the festival, which ran for three days starting on October 6, managed to attract around 53,600 visitors.
A questionnaire survey conducted among the attendees revealed that 88 percent of them reported satisfaction with the festival.
The festival’s re-visitation rate stood at 36 percent, indicating that a significant number of visitors chose to return for another experience.
This year’s festival received high praise for its series of innovative initiatives, including the operation of big tents and improved parades.
Namhae Governor Jang Choong-nam stated, “We are dedicated to ensuring that the German Village Oktoberfest becomes the nation’s premier October festival, cherished by the public.”
