SEOUL, Nov. 17 (Korea Bizwire) — The National Museum of Korean Contemporary History said it will begin showcasing on Wednesday a time capsule given to President Moon Jae-in by K-pop superstar BTS on Sept. 19 last year during the Youth Day ceremony at the History Hall located on the fifth floor of the museum.
The time capsule, which will be opened on Youth Day in 2039, has been reported to carry items that symbolize BTS’ music, youth and fans.
The time capsule is a purple paper box that is 50 centimeters wide, 40 centimeters long and 26 centimeters high.
The monitor set up above the time capsule screens the speech BTS made during last year’s Youth Day ceremony.
“The time capsule will be permanently available to the public,” the museum said.
