SEOUL, Aug. 28 (Korea Bizwire) — Naver Corp., South Korea’s top web portal operator, introduced a new artificial intelligence (AI) call technology that automatically responds to customer calls for restaurant reservations.
If a customer asks to make a reservation, the AI responds by asking the time of reservation, number of people, and if a baby chair is needed.
The technology extracts letters from the customer’s voice, understands the customer’s intent, and finds an answer that is offered back to the customer in a voice message in just 0.2 seconds.
The AI Call technology will first be introduced at the Outback Steakhouse restaurant in Gyeonggi Province.
