SEOUL, Aug. 14 (Korea Bizwire) — A new campground is set to open near the Nakdong River as an infrastructure project spearheaded by the Gumi city government is wrapping up after two years of construction.

The campground, which the Gumi city government developed with an investment of 5 million won, is set to open as part of a trial run next month, boasting around 170 camping sites over 71,300 square meters.

The Gumi campground features three distinct camping areas, including a caravan camping site recommended for families, as well as car camping and general campsites, all of which come with facilities such as bathrooms, shower rooms and sinks.

The prices range from 80,000 won during non-peak season to 160,000 during peak season for caravan camping, while car camping costs between 20,000 and 30,000, and general campsites are priced at 15,000 and 20,000 won.
