SEOUL, Jan. 17 (Korea Bizwire) — The GV80, the first sports utility vehicle (SUV) produced by Hyundai Motor Co.’s Genesis marque, is drawing the attention of even company employees.
Hyundai hosted a test drive for all management staff at company headquarters on Thursday. As many as 1,560 employees applied for 160 seats available for the test drive.
The event comes after Wednesday when Hyundai held a test drive event with the media.
These series of events reflect the new working environment at Hyundai Motor Group Executive Vice Chairman Chung Euisun introduced a more lenient dress code and other policies at work, the company explained.
Genesis plans to go on a tour at Seoul’s Genesis Gangnam, and pop-up exhibition halls in Songdo, Incheon and Busan’s Haeundae neighborhood to promote the GV80 from Friday to January 23.
